Professor Dr. Sanit Aksornkoae, President of Thailand Environment Institute, and Dr. Qwanruedee Chotichanathawewong, Senior Director of the Institute, recently awarded carbon label to processed farm produce of the Royal Project. The label was presented to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during her visit to the Royal Project Museum in Fang district, Chiang Mai province in northern Thailand .

The Institute has now collaborated with Thailand Greenhouse Gases Management Organization (TGO) to award carbon label to product (s) that achieves lower carbon emissions by 10% or more during the production process between the base year 2002 and the period of the latest 12 months.
