TBCSD leading by Mr. Pramote Insawang, deputy governor of Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, visited Ratchaburi province for donating 50,000 Baht to the governor of Ratchaburi province for alleviating cold weather crisis.
Mr. Pramote stated that from establishment of TBCSD in 1993 by having Mr. Anand Panyarachun as a chairman to 2008, presently, TBCSD with 27 member companies is administrated by Dr. Anusorn Sangnimnuan, president of Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited and chairman of TBCSD. The aim of TBCSD is to empower business sector to run business to gather with taking responsibilities for the society and environment leading towards sustainable development.
Over 15 years, TBCSD has contributed to the society and environment. TBCSD also concerned for victims of cold crisis, which did not receive enough assistance; as a result, TBCSD steps in to provide assistances for the remaining, who had not been helped.
Additionally, TBCSD donated fund for cold crisis alleviation in Ratchaburi province and TBCSD will donate money for Nong Bua Lamphu province on January 22nd, 2009.
