On April 30th, 2009, Thailand Environment Institute (TEI) in associate with Thailand Business Council for Sustainable Development (TBCSD) held a seminar on “Movement of network on social innovation with WBCSD and IGES” at Dhira Phantumvanit 6th Floor, Thailand Environment Institute. The event have 2 guest speakers: Mr. Marcel Engel, Managing Director of Regional Network World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) giving a talk in the topic of “WBCSD's activities, highlighting opportunities for cooperation for our Regional Network partners” and Mr. Masanori Kobayashi Coordinator, Programme Management Office, Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), Japan giving a talk in the topic of “Lessons and findings from APFED for promoting partnership and empowerment aimed at sustainability". After the seminar session, a representative of the Kasikorn Bank donated dhamma books for the project called “Taking the Buddhist principle, sufficiency and sustainability into Thai Society”.  This project is one of projects of TBCSD attempting donate dharma books for temple’s libraries.
