A collaboration of the Society for the Conservation of National Treasure and Environment or SCONTE, it aimed to create environmental awareness by providing an environmental management plan in waste management, waste water management, ground water usage, natural resources conservation to the community of Koh Kret. It also demonstrated the environmental friendly activities within the scope area, providing a better knowledge in environmental management and natural resources conservation to the community, which leads to the sustainable development of Koh Kret and Chao Praya river. The project organised and established a participating network among TCBSD, Local (Tambon) Administration Organisations and local community in rehabilitating the Chao Praya river, around the Island of Koh Kret.
