Thailand Environment Institute Foundation (TEI) established the Health and Global Warming Fund in 2011 under the supervision of the Health and Global Warming Fund Committee. The committee consists of experienced experts of climate change, research, health and environment, and other fields related to measures to address health problems caused by global warming
The objective of the fund is to support research on global warming that affects, directly and indirectly, human health. In addition, the fund aims to identify solutions to address problems that may arise as well as develop a body of knowledge for public sector and relevant agencies. The body of knowledge will then raise awareness of global warming and health related problems, and then developed best practices for to live under such circumstances. The fund is expected to be an alternative source to advance the research and studies that can address the mentioned problems.
