To develop waste management models for island and coastal areas; promote innovative waste management approaches, including practical and adaptable plastic recycling across various contexts; establish a regional learning and knowledge-exchange network through action learning among Thailand, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia; and elevate these lessons learned to develop policy recommendations that support the ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Strategy 2026-2030.
